What is a Bidet? (Be-day)
A bidet is a personal cleansing method utilizing a stream of water, which is more hygienic and benedicial to the use of toilet paper. The word bidet was first used in the 15th century to refer to the pet ponies kept by the French royalty.
During the 19th century the Europeans developed a porcelain cleaning device for contraceptive and purgative (cathartic) uses, which was called a bidet for its shape resembled those ponies.
Over time, its use has evolved more into a personal cleansing method, paralleling the improved sanitation and the heightened sense of personal hygiene in the modern world. Unlike conventional bidet that requires major plumbing work, it usually attaches to your existing toilet.
An electronic bidet is operated with a wireless (wall mountable) remote control, and fully featured with both posterior and feminine cleansing. You can adjust water temperature and water pressure to a setting of your choice. The position of the wash nozzle on the electronic bidet seat can also be adjusted forward or backward to best suit your body.
Utilize the water massage feature on this electronic toilet seat to experience cleaning at a whole new level. Additional features include a warm air dryer, built-in air deodorizer, auto power saving, a warmed toilet seat, and a slow closing seat and lid.
